Part II

Continues from Part I

Through high school, she had grown to adhere to the strict Catholic discipline that she could only feel attracted to the opposite sex. Still, deep within, she knew she could not control who she fell in love with. In her senior year, she had met this girl who was like heaven-sent. She was five feet five, with a curvy body and mahogany brown skin, her lips were soft and chocolate with a well-pronounced cheekbone. Her legs were crafted with a thigh gap in between, so beautiful they would inspire a poet. In the eyes of Alicia, she was as flawless as ever.

“I just want to kiss her, I want to have our moments with her, but how could I feel like this towards a girl?” she wondered in her head.

Marita turned out to be a great company in a school that she felt like she never belonged to, she remembered how they had bumped into each other in the bathroom and how hell broke loose. When Marita had touched her, she felt goosebumps all over her body, her heart was racing, tension rising in her veins, she felt different, aroused within, but on the outside, she had pretended to be okay. Marita gave her a shoulder to cry on, a fort to seek refuge in, her affection took away the horror of being the center of derogatory jokes about her.
